2 Day tour from Fes to Merzouga desert, Morocco vacation
DAY 1 : Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga :
Today our private Morocco tour from Fez starts towards the Middle Atlas mountains:
- We will visit the town of Ifrane, which is called Switzerland of Morocco.
- We will drive towards the cedar forests in Azrou, and here we may watch local monkeys. Then we drive to Midelt, which is famous for its mineral products.
- We will pass a few villages and cities to reach the fascinating Ziz valley.
- We will drive to Erfoud, which is famous for its fossils. After that, we drive towards Rissani and Merzouga Sahara desert, where we ride camels to reach desert camp. We will experience Berber music in the desert, and we will stay overnight in desert camp.
- We may watch the sunset in the dunes in the Merzouga desert.
Day 2: Desert Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Forest Cedars – Ifran – Fez.
Early morning will go to a spectacular sunrise over the dunes, back to the hotel for breakfast and shower. Then you go to Fez through the valley of Ziz, Errachidia, Midelt, with an ever-changing landscape. During the journey, we make a stop for lunch in the city of Midelt. Finally, crossing the cedar forests of Azrou and arrival in order Fes. E fulfil our services.
